Dragons send Marlins into the deep
The Purple Dragons had an offensive explosion Sunday against the Melbourne Beach Marlins, combining for 16 hits and 14 runs over 5 innings.
Matthew Katona,
Kevin Ranson, and
Brad Dority combined for 10 hits, 7 runs, and 7 RBIs. The lineup 1 through 9 had a productive day at the plate, as the Dragons schooled the fish to put up a 10 spot in the first inning.
Pitching performance by Dr.
Dave Chesny included a 1 hit shut out with 5 strike outs in 5 innings. It is safe to say that the Dr. performed some careful surgery to send the Marlins back into the fish tank!
Come out this Friday, as the Dragons face the Bulls and look to finish strong as the MBBL Winter season nears its end.
