Born with glove in hand, Kara lives for ball. Starting her career in Competitive Fast Pitch Softball, she quickly advanced onto her HS varsity time by 7th grade. As an 8th grade, starting left field, the Wildcat's brought home the gold in districts, and Kara's career continued to improve. She then proceeded to college where she started short stop and 3rd base, earning the All American Academic Athletic award, and finishing with a .370 BA. After graduation, she continued to play recreational ball, but never found satisfaction in the competition. In the summer of 2016 that all changed when she found the Purple Dragon's. After a few warm-up games, the transition from softball to baseball was complete. She is now a solid ball player, starting in the field, and batting top of the line-up. She looks forward to many seasons to come with the Dragon's and excited to further her baseball career by attending the USA Women's Baseball Open in the future.
