Scrappy O and Solid D Preserves 4-1 Win
The Dragons won their 2nd game in as many days tonight 4-1 over the Melbourne Beach Orioles. The team got another strong performance on the mound, but this time it was a group effort.
Jim Heilman and
Kelvin Ortiz combined to hold the Orioles to one run on the night.
The defense as a whole has been a strong point in the Dragons winning streak making only 2 errors in 62 chances.
On the offensive side of the ball, the Dragons took advantage of another 6 errors from their opponent to combine with 4 hits to push across 4 runs in the win.
