Dragons hold A's to three hits, pick up a W
The Dragons picked up their first win in the 2014 Stan Musial summer league on Thursday, beating the Viera Athletics by a score of 6-2.
Brad Dority pitched a gem, giving up only three hits, no earned runs, and striking out 6 in 6 innings.
The Dragons capitalized on Viera's mistakes, with
Dave Valletta and
Kevin Ranson providing the offense.
Wes Sanders also came in to close out the game and scored 3 of the 6 Dragons runs.
